Tecnargilla新近组建Kermat先进陶瓷生产技术研发部
继成立Kromatech陶瓷色彩与创造力以及 Claytech黏土砖技术研究部之后，Tecnargilla 又新近组建了Kermat先进陶瓷生产技术研发部，主要包括陶瓷原材料、半成品、特种陶瓷部件、混凝土以及生产纳米陶瓷所需的技术工艺与设备等。
同时继续研发具有高硬度、高刚度、超轻质、耐磨性强的材料以及高温涂层等，用于太空飞船、先进机械、环境保护等的领域。此外，还将举办题为'Ceramic materials: a road-map for the future'研讨会，主要涉及智能电子陶瓷、生物陶瓷、结构陶瓷等。
Kermat: Advanced Ceramic at Tecnargilla 2006
The new Kermat section at Tecnargilla will explore new technological applications of ceramic in various sectors together with an extensive array of international symposia.
This section completes the range of ceramic applications explored at the show following the successful launches of Kromatech, the area for colour and creativity in the ceramic sector, and Claytech, reserved for brick and roof tile technologies. The two sections will also be back in 2006 with some major new features.
Kermat, a section devoted to advanced ceramic products, will make its debut at Tecnargilla 2006. This new specialist section will allow visitors to take stock of the technical innovations and the new fields of application of ceramic materials and to meet some of the leading companies carrying out technological research in the sector.
The section will host raw materials, components and semi-finished products, special ceramic articles and concrete examples of their applications, as well as technological processes, control instruments and plants for the production of nanoceramic materials.
Along with habitual visitors, Tecnargilla will also be attended by producers of special ceramic articles, product developers, designers, buyers and product managers in all industrial sectors that use advanced ceramics.
Continuous research into advanced ceramic materials has brought numerous advantages over conventional materials, including hardness, rigidity, lightness, wear resistance and high temperature resistance. From innovative mechanical applications to electronic microcomponents, from spaceships to advanced medicine and environment protection, advanced ceramic applications are commonplace in modern life.
Kermat will also feature a series of international symposia beginning with the opening ceremony on 28 September with 'Ceramic materials: a road-map for the future', which will include addresses by Stephen Freiman, National Institute of Standards and Technology (USA) and Marta Jaskowiak, NASA (USA). A total of four conventions will be held between 28 September and 2 October. These are:
28 September: Smart ceramics and electronic applications
29 September: Ceramics: energy and environment
30 September: Ceramics and biomedical applications
2 October: Structural ceramics in the mechanical industry and transport systems
The keynote speakers are experts in their fields and represent leading research centres and the major international universities, including Centro Ricerche Fiat, Pirelli Labs and Brembo Ceramic Brake System SpA.
Kermat is backed by the Italian Trade Commission ICE and is organised in cooperation with leading national and international associations such as CNR (National Research Council), American Ceramic Society, ISTEC (Institute for science and technology of ceramic materials), ASM, Materials Information Society and Società Ceramica Italiana.
Tecnargilla will be held in Rimini, Italy from 28 September to 2 October 2006
